In a small pot, combine rolled oats and milk or water. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and creamy (about 5 minutes). Stir in the peanut butter until fully incorporated. Remove from the heat and top with chocolate chips and cover with a lid to melt.
Prepare the Fruit: While the oatmeal is cooking, wash and prepare the side of fresh fruit as needed.
Stir the oatmeal until combined. Portion and top with banana slices.
