Heat the sauce in a pot to a low simmer.
In a bowl, mix together the bread, milk, ground beef, oregano, parmesan cheese (reserve half for garnish), and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Using your hands, form the meat into equally sized balls.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches without crowding the pan and sear until nicely browned (about 3 min per side).
Add meatballs into the pot with the sauce, partially cover with a lid, stirring occasionally and simmer to an internal temperature of 160 degrees using a thermometer.
In a pot of boiling salted water cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain well.
Remove the sauce from the heat. Ladle the sauce over the pasta and serve with meatballs. Garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley.
