Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients

  • 8 Mozzarella cheese sticks or use store bought mozzarella sticks
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Seasoned Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil or more if needed

Instructions

  • Dip each cheese stick into the egg, then into the flour, then dip back into the egg and then roll in bread crumbs to coat very well.
  • Place them on a plate and into the freezer until you are ready to fry.
  • Heat oil in a skillet or saucepan until hot (you should see a little smoke coming from the oil) and cook the sticks for about 2-4 minutes, or until golden and before the cheese starts to leak out.
  • Drain on paper towels before serving.
