Prep all ingredients per the instructions above. Preheat the oven to the temperature specified on the taco shell packaging.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground beef with the taco seasoning breaking it up into smaller pieces until no longer pink. Then set aside.
Prepare Mini Hard Shell Beef Tacos: Warm the mini taco shells in the preheated oven as per the packaging instructions.
Fill each taco shell with a spoonful of seasoned ground beef. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef in each taco shell. Top with diced tomatoes, red onion, lettuce, and chopped cilantro.
Prepare Margarita Mocktail: If desired, rim the glass with salt or sugar by wetting the rim and dipping it into the salt or sugar. In a shaker, combine lime juice, orange juice, sparkling water, and simple syrup. Shake well. Fill the glass with ice and strain the mocktail mixture into the glass.
Serve tacos with chips and salsa and Margarita Mocktail Garnish the mocktail with a slice of lime.
