Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • Nonstick spray
  • 4 tbsp Whipped cream cheese
  • 8 slices Sourdough bread
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese halved
  • 2 Jalapeño pepper sliced into thin rings
  • 4 Pickle spears

Instructions

  • Preheat a panini style grill. Lightly grease with nonstick spray.
  • ** If using bacon. Cook on both sides until crispy (or to your liking). Set aside on paper towels.
  • Spread the cream cheese one of the slices of bread. Layer with jalapeno, (bacon if using), cheddar cheese, and the other slice of bread. Repeat for other sandwiches.
  • Cook on the panini grill until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted.
    (Alternatively, Heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium-low heat. Lightly grease with nonstick spray, place the sandwiches in the pan (in batches if needed). Cover with a lid and cook on both sides until golden brown and the cheese is nice and melty.
  • Cut in half and serve with pickle.

Add bacon if desired
