Ham Baguette

Ingredients

Pita & Dip

  • 2 Pita bread cut into triangle
  • 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Cucumber finely diced
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Fresh dill chopped

Baguette

  • 1/2 loaf French bread cut in half lengthwise
  • 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 cups Arugula
  • 8 slices Tomato
  • 12 oz Deli ham sliced thin
  • 4 slices Jarlsberg cheese halved

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Toss the pita with oil, lemon pepper seasoning, and salt. Place on a foil lined baking sheet and cook in the oven until golden brown and crisp. Turning the pita over halfway through. Once crisp set aside to cool.
  • In a bowl mix the yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, dill, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Spread both halves of the baguette with mustard.
  • Preheat the oven broiler on low.
  • Layer the bread with arugula, tomato seasoned with salt and pepper, ham, and cheese. Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  • Cut into portions and serve with pita chips and dip.
