Preheat the oven to 400°F. In an appropriately sized baking dish, mix the green beans, broth, heavy cream, butter, cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to distribute the ingredients evenly within the baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil and spread the breadcrumbs over the top. Bake uncovered for another 10 minutes or until breadcrumbs are golden brown.
