Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, mix the cream, vanilla, and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. The cream can also be whipped by hand with a wire whip in a bowl.
In a bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Toss the banana in the sugar and cinnamon.
In a nonstick pan over medium heat melt the butter. Add the banana slices. Cook for about 2-3 minutes. Flip the slices and cook for 2-3 more minutes until the bananas are soft and warmed through.
Spoon the whipped cream over sliced bananas to serve.
