Pizza Bread
- 1/2 loaf French bread cut into 6 inch sections per portion then sliced in half horizontally
- Extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling
- 1 cup Marinara sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded, use more if needed
- Your choice of toppings example: pepperoni, onion, peppers, mushrooms etc
- 1/4 tsp Dried oregano
Ginger Soda
- 24 oz Ginger ale soda cold
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
Place the baguette onto a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Lightly toast the bread to golden brown. Then remove from the oven.
Spread a layer of sauce as needed onto the bread, covering it well. Evenly distribute the cheese and pepperoni over top. Sprinkle with oregano.
Place on a foiled-lined baking sheet and cook in the oven until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve the pizza bread with ginger ale.
