Ingredients

Air Fryer French Fries

  • 2 Russet potatoes scrubbed and cut into thin strips
  • 1 TBSP Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Paprika to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Currywurst

  • 10 oz Bratwurst Links
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil
  • ½ cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Yellow curry powder (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup Ketchup
  • 2 TBSP Water

Pink Lemonade

  • 24 oz Pink lemonade

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and the oven to 400°F (200°C). Prep all ingredients per instructions above.
  • Prepare the French fries: Soak the cut russet potatoes in a bowl of water for at least 20 minutes, then drain well. Once done, toss the potatoes with extra-virgin olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
  • Cook the bratwurst: Place the bratwurst on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until an internal temperature of 155°F (68°C) is reached (approximately 15-20 minutes).
  • Prepare the curry ketchup sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil.
  • Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add curry powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper, stirring for 2 minutes to toast the spices.
  • Pour in the ketchup and water, stirring well to combine. Simmer the sauce over low heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Slice and serve: Once the bratwurst is cooked, slice it into bite-sized pieces. Pour the curry ketchup sauce over the sliced bratwurst and toss to coat. Serve immediately with air fryer french fries and pink lemonade.
