Chocolate Croissant

Ingredients

Melon

  • 1 cup Cantaloupe scooped with a melon baller
  • 1 cup Honeydew scooped with a melon baller
  • 2 TBSP Fresh mint chopped

Croissant

  • 2 Croissants cut in half horizontally
  • 1/2 cup Semisweet chocolate chips melted (use more if needed)

Coffee

  • Coffee
  • Your choice of creamer
  • Your choice of sweetener

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). While the oven is heating, prep the croissant.
  • Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
  • Mix the melon with mint in a bowl.
  • Make the croissants: Warm the croissant in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes. While baking, make the coffee and melt the chocolate.
  • Make the coffee according to the directions on the coffee maker.
  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 20-second intervals, stirring after each time, until smooth. Do not overheat or the chocolate will burn and clump up.
  • Spread the melted chocolate inside both halves of the croissant, then put both halves together and drizzle some over top.
  • Serve: Transfer the croissant to a plate. Enjoy with melon and coffee.
