Preheat a grill over medium heat.
Grill the hot dogs until browned on all sides, about 5 - 7 minutes.
While hot dogs are cooking, heat canned chili in a saucepan over medium heat.
Once hot dogs are cooked, set aside.
Place a cooked hot dog into each bun.
Top each hot dog with heated chili.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chili.
Optionally, add diced onions and sliced jalapeñnos on top of the cheese.
Mix sparkling water with lemon slices. Serve over ice if desired.
Serve chili cheese hot dogs with carrots and ranch and lemon sparkling water.
