Ingredients

Burgers

  • 8 oz Ground beef (Black Angus recommended)
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 TBSP Heinz Carolina vinegar-style tangy BBQ sauce (for the burger mix)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Hamburger buns
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce torn to fit the bun

Carrots and Ranch

  • ½ cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks or use baby carrots
  • ½ cup Hummus

Mango Lassi

  • cups Frozen mango
  • ¾ cup Plain yogurt
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • 1 TBSP Sugar to taste
  • ¼ tsp Ground cardamom

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Heinz Carolina vinegar-style BBQ sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until fully combined, then form the mixture into patties.
  • Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties on both sides to your preferred doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a pan until golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing romaine lettuce on the bottom half of each bun. Add the cooked burger patty, drizzle with additional BBQ sauce if desired, and cover with the top half of the bun.
  • To make the mango lassi, combine the frozen mango, yogurt, milk, cardamom powder, and sugar in a blender. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Serve the burgers with carrot sticks and hummus, along with the mango lassi.
