Ingredients

In-Season Fruit

  • 2 cups Fresh fruit in-season, e.g., apple slices, pear slices, or kiwi, quartered, washed and prepared as needed

Cacao Superfood Smoothie

  • 1 TBSP Cacao powder
  • 2 TBSP Peanut butter
  • 1 Banana
  • ½ cup Rolled oats
  • ½ tsp Maca powder optional
  • 2 TBSP Honey to taste
  • 3 cups Milk your choice
  • 2 tsp Goji berries soaked in water for 20 minutes, then drained, optional
  • 1 tsp Bee pollen for topping, optional

Instructions

  • Prepare ingredients as instructed.
  • Blend smoothie: Combine cacao powder, peanut butter, banana, rolled oats, maca powder, honey, and milk in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Adjust texture: Add extra milk to thin or a few ice cubes to thicken. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.
  • Serve the smoothie with the fresh fruit on the side.
