Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Once cooked, retain some of the pasta water and drain the rest well.
While the pasta is cooking, heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking apart the meat, until no longer pink. Add in the onions and garlic; cook until soft.
Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, add in the reserved pasta water a small amount at a time to thin out the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add in the cooked pasta and stir to combine with the sauce evenly.
Mix in 1/2 the cheddar cheese until combined. Top with the remaining cheese, cover with a lid and allow it to melt.
