For the chicken sausage: If raw, cook in a 400°F oven to an internal temperature of 160°F using a thermometer. If already cooked: Place in a 400 degree oven until warmed through or slice and brown in a nonstick pan on medium heat.Place the garlic clove on the same pan in the oven to get it nicely browned.
In a pot, add the oatmeal, apples, brown sugar, maple syrup, and recommended amount of water on the packaging. Cook the oatmeal according to the directions on the package.
For the cream cheese: add the carrot, celery, scallions, and garlic clove to a blender or food processor. Pulse until finely chopped. Then fold together in a bowl with cream cheese.
Toast the bagel and spread the cream cheese on.
Sprinkle the oatmeal with cinnamon, serve with the bagel, and chicken sausage.
