Ingredients

Iced Coffee

  • Coffee cooled
  • Ice cubes
  • Your choice of creamer
  • Your choice of sweetener

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal with Nuts and Honey

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1 Apple peeled cored and diced
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 TBSP Sliced almonds
  • 2 TBSP Honey

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients per the instructions above.
  • Brew the coffee then refrigerate to cool.
  • In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  • Once boiling, stir in the rolled oats and a pinch of salt.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are tender and the mixture thickens.
  • While the oats are cooking, prepare the apple. Peel, core, and dice it.
  • Add diced apple and cinnamon to the oatmeal mixture. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the apple softens and incorporates with the oats.
  • Once the oatmeal is ready, divide it into bowls. Top each bowl of oatmeal with chopped nuts and drizzle with honey.
  • Pour the coffee over ice and prepare to your liking.
  • Enjoy your hearty and delicious apple cinnamon oatmeal alongside iced coffee.
