Ingredients
Tuna Sandwich
- 10 oz Tuna fish drained (albacore / chunk white tuna / or your preference)
- 2 TBSP Celery minced
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- 3 TBSP Mayonnaise more as needed
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 slices Sourdough bread lightly toasted
- 1 cup Butter lettuce cut to fit the bread
- 2 TBSP Red onion sliced thin
- 4 slices Tomato
- 2 oz Potato chips
- 2 Pickle spears
Homemade Lemonade
- 1 ½ cups Lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 20 oz Water
- 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Prep ingredients per the instructions above.
- In a small mixing bowl, break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with celery, lemon juice, and mayonnaise as needed until the tuna is to your desired creaminess. Season with pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
- Lightly toast the bread.
- Assemble sandwich: Layer the bread with lettuce, tomato, Tuna Salad, and onion. Close the sandwich with top piece of bread. Cut in half.
- Make the lemonade: Mix all ingredients for the lemonade. Serve over ice if desired.
- Serve: Enjoy the sandwich with chips, pickle, and homemade lemonade.
