Ingredients
- 2 cups Marinara sauce see recipe or use store bought (use more if needed)
- 1/4 cup Sourdough bread chopped into small pieces
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 6 oz Ground beef
- 1/4 tsp Dried oregano
- 4 tsp Parmesan cheese grated
- 4 oz Spaghetti or pasta of your choice
Instructions
- Heat the sauce on low heat in a saucepan or pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the bread, milk, ground beef, oregano, half of the parmesan, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Using your hands, form the meat into equally sized balls.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches without crowding the pan and sear until nicely browned (about 3 min per side).
- Add meatballs into the pot with the sauce, partially cover with a lid, stirring occasionally and simmer for 20 minutes.
- In a pot of boiling salted water cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain well.
- Remove the sauce from the heat. Ladle the sauce over the pasta and serve with meatballs, and parmesan cheese over top.
