Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound Ground chicken
  • Milk
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Bacon
  • All-purpose flour
  • 8 slices Flatbread or bread of your choice

Instructions

  • In a non-stick pan over medium heat, cook the beef until no longer pink while breaking it up into smaller pieces. Stir in the ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer for about 3-5 minutes, until the sauce is thickened. Then remove from heat.
  • Build the sandwich with a slice of bread, slice of cheese, Sloppy Joe mixture, another slice of cheese, and top with a bread slice (use a little more cheese if desired).
  • Heat the oil as needed in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Cook the sandwich on both sides, covered with a lid, until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Cut in half and serve with chips and pickles.
