Ingredients
Latte
- 1 cup Tazo Classic Chai Latte Concentrate
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 tsp Granulated sugar to taste, if needed
- Ground cinnamon garnish
Bagel
- 2 Your choice of bagel halved and toasted
- 6 TBSP Whipped cream cheese
- 6 oz Lox (smoked salmon)
- 1/4 cup Grape tomatoes quartered
- 1/4 cup Red onion sliced very thin
- 1/4 cup Alfalfa sprouts
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds black
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 Clementine peeled and sectioned
Instructions
- Make the latte: Heat the chai concentrate and milk in a saucepan. Simmer on low for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
- Toast the bagel in a toaster oven.
- Assemble the bagel: Spread the bagel with cream cheese. Top with salmon, tomatoes, onion, sprouts, and sesame seeds. Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper if needed.
- Finish the latte: Pour the heated chai latte into a French press or use a frother or whisk. Place the lid on the French press and move the plunger up and down 20 times. Make sure to hold onto the lid as you move the plunger. The Chai latte will double in volume. Alternatively use a frother or whisk by hand until the latte doubles in volume. Pour the chai latte into a mug. Add sugar to taste if needed. Dust with cinnamon.
- Serve: Enjoy the lox bagel with a chai latte.
