Ingredients
Ham Brie Baguette
- 1/2 loaf Baguette about 5 inch piece per portion
- 2 TBSP Yellow mustard
- 1 cups Baby spinach
- 4 slices Tomato
- 6 oz Deli ham sliced thin
- 3 oz Brie cheese sliced
- 2 Pickle spears
- 2 oz Potato chips
Deviled Eggs
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 TBSP Mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Capers
Cucumber Water
- 16 oz Water
- 8 slices Cucumber about 1/4 inch thick sliced
Instructions
- In a pitcher, stir together the cucumber water ingredients. Transfer to the refrigerator to chill until you are ready to serve.
- Place eggs in a saucepan and cover completely with water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Once the water has reached a boil, set a timer for 6 minutes. While the eggs are cooking, prep the baguette ingredients.
- Prep the ham brie baguette ingredients per instruction above.
- When the timer sounds, drain the hot water and run the eggs under cold water until they cool down. Once cooled, tap the eggs all over with the back of a spoon to gently crack the shells, then carefully peel the shells from the eggs.
- Slice each egg in half, lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Whisk the egg yolks with mustard and mayonnaise (add more mayonnaise or mustard if necessary to reach the desired flavor and creamy consistency). Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the egg yolk mixture into the egg white halves. Sprinkle with paprika and top with capers. Transfer to a plate and refrigerate while you make the baguette.
- Make the ham brie baguette: Spread the mustard on the inside of both halves of the baguette. Layer with spinach, tomato seasoned with salt and pepper, ham and brie.
- To serve: Cut the baguette in half and enjoy with the deviled eggs, pickles, chips and cucumber water.
