Ingredients

Omelet

  • 1 TBSP Butter
  • 4 oz Deli ham diced
  • 4 Eggs beaten
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 slices Sourdough bread toasted
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 2 TBSP Your choice of jam

Orange Juice

  • 16 oz Orange juice cold

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
  • Melt the butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add in ham and saute until nicely browned. Pour in the eggs and reduce the heat to low. Season with salt and pepper. Use a spatula to pull the cooked eggs into the center, letting the liquid egg fill the space behind it. Continue going around the pan, pulling the eggs toward the center until the eggs are nearly set. Once the omelet is sliding around the pan easily and you can get a spatula underneath, flip the omelet over and turn off the heat. Sprinkle cheese over the egg and place in the oven to melt the cheese. Then fold it in half.
  • Toast the bread, then spread it with butter and jam.
  • Serve the omelet with toast and orange juice.
