Grilled Ham and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 8 slices Sourdough bread or bread of your choice
  • 4 oz Cheddar cheese sliced
  • 12 slices Tomato
  • 12 oz Deli ham sliced thin
  • 2 oz Potato chips
  • 4 Pickles halved

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a nonstick pan to medium-low heat. Place a slice of cheese on each slice, tomatoes seasoned with salt and pepper, and ham. Close the two halves and place in the pan.
  • Cover with a lid. (Watch the heat, make sure the bread isn't burning.) When the cheese is melted and the bread is nicely grilled to golden brown, flip the sandwich to the other side and repeat.
  • Cut in half and serve with chips and pickles.
