Ingredients

Whipped Cream

  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp Powdered sugar

French Toast

  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • pinch Salt
  • 4 slices Texas toast
  • 1 TBSP Butter to grease the pan
  • 2 TBSP Maple syrup
  • 1 cup Raspberries

Orange Juice

  • 16 oz Orange juice cold

Instructions

  • Make the whipped cream: In a bowl, whisk the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form using an electric mixer or by hand with a whisk. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Preheat a nonstick pan or griddle on medium heat.
  • Whisk the egg, vanilla, cream, and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Add a pinch of salt. Dip the bread in the egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly until the slices are moistened but not soggy. Lightly grease the pan with butter as needed. Cook bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
  • Drizzle the french toast with syrup and top with whipped cream. Serve with raspberries and orange juice.
