Ingredients
- 4 slices Bacon
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 2 tbsp Steak seasoning Montreal steak seasoning or comparable brand
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 slices Aged Cheddar Cheese or your choice of cheese
- 4 Hamburger buns toasted
- 8 leaves Romaine lettuce shredded
- 8 slices Tomato
- 4 Pickle spears
- 4 tbsp Ketchup or your favorite condiments
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- In a large non-stick pan or skillet, cook the bacon on both sides until crisp.
- Mix together the ground beef, steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce, season generously with salt and pepper. Divide and form meat into equal patties. (Pro tip: If you want to make a double burger, divide and form the meat into 2 equal patties per portion)
- Grill burgers to desired doneness (see below) using a thermometer. When the burger is 3/4 of the way cooked to your liking, add the cheese to the top to melt.
- Toast the buns on the grill or in a 350°F oven until golden brown. Add the burgers and bacon on the bun. Serve with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and ketchup.

Steak Internal Temperatures:
- Rare: 115 - 120 degrees F
- Medium Rare: 125 - 130 degrees F
- Medium: 135 - 140 degrees F
- Medium Well: 145 - 150 degrees F
- Well Done: 160 degrees F
