Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Butter softened
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Walnuts coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup Dried cherries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg, then stir in the vanilla extract. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the walnuts and cherries. Drop dough by the spoonful onto parchment paper lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving.
