Ingredients
Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich:
- 4 slices Bacon
- 4 slices White bread
- 2 TBSP Butter or cooking oil
- 4 Eggs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese
Fruit:
- Fresh fruit (e.g. berries sliced melon)
Orange Juice:
- 24 oz Orange juice
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place it on paper towels to drain excess grease. Keep the skillet on the stove for cooking the eggs.
- Toast the bread.
- In the same skillet used for the bacon (you can use a bit of bacon fat or add a small amount of butter/oil if needed), add in the eggs.
- Cook the eggs until the whites start to firm up then flip over and top with with cheese. Cook for 3 seconds to 1 minute longer until the cheese is melted.
- Layer the bread with bacon and eggs. Top with slice of bread and cut in half.
- Wash and slice fresh fruit to serve as a side for the sandwiches.
- Plate the sandwiches alongside the fresh fruit and orange juice.
