Ingredients

Pancakes

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 TBSP Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Milk as needed
  • 1 Apple peeled and diced
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Walnuts chopped
  • 3/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Nonstick spray
  • 4 tsp Butter
  • 4 TBSP Maple syrup

Milk

  • 16 oz Milk cold

Instructions

  • Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar in a large bowl. Slowly mix in the milk (as needed) until a lumpy batter forms. Fold in the apples, cinnamon, walnuts, and vanilla.
  • Heat a large non-stick griddle or skillet over medium heat, and grease lightly with non-stick spray and butter (as needed).
  • Pour the batter into circles.
  • Once bubbles appear on top and the bottom is golden brown, flip the pancakes. Cook until firm and golden brown on both sides.
  • Top with maple syrup. Serve with milk.
