Oatmeal
- 1 cup Rolled oats
- 2 cups Water
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 Apple cored peeled and diced
- 1 TBSP Honey
- 1/4 cup Milk
Instructions
- Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
- Prep the apples.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal is thick and creamy.
- Add the diced apple and honey to the oatmeal and stir well to combine. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, or until the apple is soft and tender. Remove from the heat and stir in the milk.
- Portion the oatmeal into bowls. Serve with coffee.
