Ingredients
- 4 Pork chops about 4oz per portion (boneless)
- 1/2 tbsp Steak seasoning montreal steak seasoning or preferred seasoning
- 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 slices Crusty bread toasted if desired
Chutney
- 2 tsp Butter
- 1 Apple peeled and diced small
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dried cranberries
- 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Season the pork chops on both sides with seasoning.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- For the chutney: Add all ingredients to a nonstick pan on medium low heat. Simmer until the apples are tender and the liquid becomes a syrup consistency, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat.
- Heat an oven safe nonstick pan on medium heat. Once hot, add the oil. Brown the pork chops to golden brown on both sides. Place the pan in the oven and cook the pork to an internal temperature of 145 degrees using a thermometer. Remove from the pan and set aside to rest for 3 minutes.
- Spoon the chutney over the pork. Serve with bread.
