Ingredients
Rooibos Tea
- 2 Rooibos tea bags or 1 tsp loose-leaf rooibos tea per bag
- 2 cups Water
Eggs
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 Eggs beaten
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Divine Dish Cacao Superfood Smoothie
- 3 cups Milk your choice
- 1 Banana
- 1 Dates pitted
- 2 TBSP Peanut butter
- ½ cup Rolled oats
- 1 scoop Protein powder
- 1 TBSP Cacao powder
- ½ tsp Maca powder optional
- 2 tsp Goji berries optional, soaked and drained
- 1 tsp Bee pollen optional, for topping
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients as listed.
- Boil water for the tea. Remove from heat and steep rooibos tea bags for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add milk to a blender, followed by the banana, date, peanut butter, rolled oats, protein powder, cacao powder, and maca powder if using. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. Adjust consistency with additional milk or ice if desired, then blend briefly. Top with goji berries and bee pollen if using
- Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Pour in the eggs, season with salt and black pepper. Scramble until firm.
- Serve the smoothie with eggs and rooibos tea.
