Ingredients
Mexican Beef Street Tacos
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 8 oz Ground beef
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 Soft taco shells
- 1/4 cup Onion diced
- 1/4 cup Tomatoes diced
- 3 TBSP Monterey Jack cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup Romaine lettuce shredded
Chips and Guac
- 1 Avocado
- 2 tsp Fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 tsp Lime juice
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp Ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 oz Tortilla chips
Lemon Chia Sparkling Water
- 1/2 tsp Chia seeds
- 4 slices Lemon
- 16 oz Sparkling water
Instructions
- Prep all ingredients according to the ingredient list.
- In a bowl, season the ground beef with chili powder, ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat extra-virgin olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned ground beef and cook, breaking it into small pieces, until fully browned. Remove from heat.
- Warm the soft taco shells in a pan over medium heat until pliable on both sides.
- Fill the taco shells with the cooked beef. Top with diced onion, diced tomatoes, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and lettuce.
- In a bowl, mash the avocado until smooth. Add fresh cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Combine lemon, chia seeds, and sparkling water. Stir well and let sit until the chia seeds bloom.
- Serve the tacos with tortilla chips and guacamole alongside lemon chia sparkling water.
