Ingredients
Jambon Beurre Sandwich
- 4 oz Brie cheese cut into pieces
- 2 TBSP Butter softened
- 1 TBSP Fresh chives minced
- 1 TBSP Fresh parsley minced
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove Garlic grated
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 cup Arugula
- 1/2 TBSP Lemon juice
- 1/2 French baguette cut into 6-inch pieces and sliced in half horizontally
- 6 oz Deli ham thinly sliced
Sides
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks or use baby carrots
- 1/2 cup Hummus
- 2 Pickle spears
Mango Lassi
- 1½ cups Frozen mango chopped
- ¾ cup Plain yogurt
- ¾ cup Milk
- ¼ tsp Ground cardamom
- 1 TBSP Sugar to taste
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
- Let the Brie cheese sit at room temperature until softened.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced chives, minced parsley, Dijon mustard, and grated garlic. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- In a separate bowl, toss the arugula with lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Spread the herb butter mixture evenly on the bottom half of the French baguette.
- Layer the baguette with sliced deli ham, softened Brie cheese, and seasoned arugula. Top with the other half of the baguette to form the sandwich.
- Blend mango, yogurt, milk, cardamom, and sugar until smooth. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Serve the jambon beurre sandwich with carrot sticks, hummus, pickle spears, and mango lassi.
