Ingredients

Jambon Beurre

  • 4 oz Brie cheese cut into pieces
  • 2 TBSP Butter softened
  • 1 TBSP Fresh chives minced
  • 1 TBSP Fresh parsley minced
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove Garlic grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Arugula tossed with lemon juice
  • ½ TBSP Lemon juice
  • 2 Sub rolls or baguette (6-inch pieces)
  • 6 oz Deli ham thinly sliced
  • 2 oz Potato chips
  • 2 Pickle spears

Lemonade

  • 1 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 16 oz Water
  • 2 TBSP Sugar to taste
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Let the sliced brie sit out at room temperature while you prepare the other ingredients.
  • Prep the ingredients as described above (e.g., mince herbs, grate garlic, and slice bread).
  • In a bowl, mix butter, chives, parsley, Dijon mustard, and garlic until combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Add arugula to a bowl, toss with lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread the prepared butter generously inside each sub roll. Layer with ham, brie, and a handful of arugula. Season with salt and pepper, then cover with the top half of the roll.
  • Prepare the lemonade by combining lemon juice, water, and sugar. Stir well. Serve over ice if desired.
  • Plate the jambon beurre sandwich with potato chips and pickle spears. Serve with a glass of lemonade.
