Ingredients

Pork Sausage

  • 4 Pork sausage links

Garden Omelette

  • 1 TBSP Butter or oil for cooking
  • ¼ cup Onion diced
  • ¼ cup Green bell Pepper diced
  • ¼ cup Mushrooms sliced
  • ¼ cup Tomato diced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 Eggs beaten
  • ¼ cup Swiss cheese shredded

Apple and Banana

  • 1 Apple sliced
  • 1 Banana ripe, sliced

Orange Juice

  • 16 oz Orange juice cold

Instructions

  • Cook the Sausage: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add sausage links and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, refer to instructions on the package. Once cooked, remove the sausages from the pan and set aside.
  • Cook the Vegetables: Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat, add olive oil or butter. Add diced onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and tomato. Sauté for about 3 - 4 minutes, until the vegetables are softened and slightly caramelized. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the Omelette: In the same skillet, pour the beaten eggs and let them cook over medium-low heat. Swirl the pan gently to spread the eggs evenly. Once the eggs begin to set, add the sautéed vegetables on top and sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese. Allow the omelette to cook for 1 - 2 minutes more, until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully set. You can cover the pan for faster cooking if needed. Fold the omelette in half and slide it onto a plate.
  • Assemble the Meal: Serve the omelette with the cooked pork sausages on the side. Arrange the sliced apple and banana on the plate, alongside the sausage and omelette. Pour orange juice into glasses and serve.
