Ingredients

Breakfast Croissant Sandwich

  • 2 Croissants sliced in half
  • 4 Eggs beaten
  • 2 TBSP Milk
  • 4 Breakfast sausage links sliced
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 1 TBSP Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Fruit

  • 1 Apple washed, sliced
  • 1 Banana ripe, peeled and sliced

Orange Juice

  • 16 oz Orange juice cold

Instructions

  • Toast the Croissants: Slice the croissants in half and lightly toast them under a broiler or in a toaster oven until golden brown.
  • Whisk the Eggs: In a small bowl, whisk the eggs with milk. Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked.
  • Scramble the Eggs: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Pour in the egg mixture and allow it to set slightly before gently stirring with a spatula. Cook until the eggs are fluffy and just set, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Assemble the Croissant Sandwich: Portion the eggs onto the croissant and top with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  • Melt the Cheese: Place the assembled croissants back in the oven or under the broiler for 1–2 minutes until the cheese is melted. Top with the other half of the croissant.
  • Serve: Plate the croissant sandwiches and serve alongside the fresh fruit and cold orange juice. Enjoy!
