Ingredients

Chop Cheese

  • ½ Onion diced
  • 7 oz Ground beef
  • Salt adjust to taste
  • Black pepper adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder adjust to taste
  • 1 slice American cheese
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Whole wheat bun
  • 1 /2 TBSP Mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Ketchup
  • 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato

Carrots and Hummus

  • 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1/3 cup Hummus

Lemon Sparkling Water

  • 24 oz Sparkling water
  • 1 Lemon sliced
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients as instructed.
  • Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat.
  • Saute the onion until translucent.
  • Add the ground beef, chopping it into small pieces. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, mixing well with the onions.
  • Place the American cheese and cheddar cheese over the beef mixture and allow the cheese to melt. Mix gently to combine with the meat.
  • Toast the buns under the oven broiler until golden brown.
  • Spread mayonnaise and ketchup inside the toasted rolls.
  • Portion the chopped beef mixture onto the buns. Top with lettuce and tomato.
  • Pour sparkling water over lemon slices and serve over ice cubes.
  • Serve the chop cheese with carrot sticks and hummus alongside lemon sparkling water.
