
Cheeseburger, Carrots, Hummus, Lemon Chia Sprakling Water

Ingredients
Cheeseburger
- 1 TBSP Ketchup
- 1 tsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 8 oz Ground beef
- ½ TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 Whole wheat bun
- 2 slices Your choice of cheese
- 4 leaves Butter lettuce
- 4 slices Tomato
- 2 slices Red onion thinly sliced
Carrots and Hummus
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks
- 1/3 cup Hummus
Lemon Chia Sparkling Water
- 24 oz Sparkling water cold
- 1 Lemon sliced
- 2 tsp Chia seeds
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients as listed.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard until smooth to create the sauce.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into patties.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties, flipping once, until cooked through. During the final minute, place cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns, cut side down, until lightly golden.
- Assemble the cheeseburger by spreading the sauce on the buns. Layer with butter lettuce, tomato, the cheeseburger patty, and red onion, then close with the top bun.
- In a glass or pitcher, combine sparkling water, lemon slices, and chia seeds. Stir well and allow the chia seeds to hydrate briefly, then stir again.
- Serve the cheeseburger with carrots and hummus and lemon chia sparkling water.
