Ingredients
Grilled Burger
- 8 oz Ground beef
- ½ TBSP Worcestershire sauce
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 Hamburger buns lightly toasted
- 2 slices Your choice of cheese (optional)
- 4 TBSP Ketchup or choice of condiments
- 4 leaves Butter lettuce
- 4 slices Tomato
- 2 slices Red onion thinly sliced
Grilled Corn
- 1 ear Corn on the cob shucked
- 2 tsp Butter
Watermelon
- 2 slices Watermelon
Sparkling Chia Fresca
- ½ cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 2 TBSP Maple syrup or honey, your choice
- ½ tsp Chia seeds
- Pinch Salt
- 16 oz Sparkling water
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients as described above.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into burger patties.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Grill the patties for 3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook to desired doneness. Add a slice of cheese on top and let it melt.
- Optional: Toast the hamburger buns, cut-side down, on the grill until golden.
- Assemble each burger with lettuce, tomato, beef patty, onion, and your choice of condiments. Top with the other half of the bun.
- For the grilled corn, heat the grill or grill pan to medium. Grill on all sides until tender and lightly charred.
- Remove the corn from the grill, spread with butter, season with salt and pepper, and cut in half.
- To make chia fresca, combine all the ingredients. Let sit for 5 minutes for the chia to bloom.
- Serve the burgers with grilled corn, watermelon, and sparkling chia fresca.
