Ingredients

Cacao Superfood Smoothie

  • 2 TBSP Peanut butter
  • 1 Banana frozen if preferred
  • ½ cup Rolled oats
  • 1 TBSP Cacao powder
  • ½ tsp Maca powder optional
  • 2 TBSP Honey to taste
  • 3 cups Milk your choice
  • 2 tsp Goji berries optional, soaked in water for 20 minutes then drained (fewer than 10 berries per smoothie)
  • 1 tsp Bee pollen optional, for topping

Fruit

  • 2 cups Fresh fruit e.g. cantaloupe grapes banana

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients as instructed above.
  • Make the smoothie: In a blender, combine peanut butter, banana, rolled oats, cacao powder, maca powder (if using), honey, and milk. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Adjust as needed: Add more milk to thin the smoothie or ice cubes to thicken it, then blend again briefly. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional honey if desired. Blend once more.
  • Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses. Top with soaked goji berries and bee pollen if using. Serve with fruit on the side. Enjoy your nourishing and energizing breakfast.
