Ingredients
Cacao Superfood Smoothie
- 2 TBSP Peanut butter
- 1 Banana frozen if preferred
- ½ cup Rolled oats
- 1 TBSP Cacao powder
- ½ tsp Maca powder optional
- 2 TBSP Honey to taste
- 3 cups Milk your choice
- 2 tsp Goji berries optional, soaked in water for 20 minutes then drained (fewer than 10 berries per smoothie)
- 1 tsp Bee pollen optional, for topping
Melon Balls
- 2 cups Melon balls e.g. scooped with a melon baller cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients as instructed above.
- Make the smoothie: In a blender, combine peanut butter, banana, rolled oats, cacao powder, maca powder (if using), honey, and milk. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust as needed: Add more milk to thin or ice cubes to thicken the smoothie, then blend again briefly. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired. Blend again.
- Serve the smoothie with melon balls.
