Ingredients

Oatmeal Apple Cinnamon Pancakes

  • 1 Apple peeled and sliced
  • 1 tsp Butter for sautéing the apple
  • 1 TBSP Maple syrup to glaze the apple
  • 1/2 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Milk any type
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 TBSP Sugar optional, depending on sweetness preference
  • pinch Salt
  • Butter or oil, for cooking

Maple Syrup

  • Maple syrup for serving

Milk

  • 16 oz Milk cold

Fresh Fruit

  • 2 cups Fresh fruit e.g., blueberries, sliced banana, or raspberries, washed and prepared as needed

Instructions

  • Sauté apple: Melt butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add the apple and cook until softened. Stir in maple syrup and cook for 1 minute more. Remove from heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, flour and milk.
  • Mix batter: Add egg, cinnamon, baking powder, sugar (if using), and salt to the mixture.
  • Cook pancakes: Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with butter or oil. Pour about ¼ cup of batter per pancake. Cook 2–3 minutes per side, flipping when bubbles appear and edges are set.
  • Serve the pancakes with apple topping, drizzle with maple syrup, and serve with fresh fruit and milk.
