Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Red onion minced
  • 2 cups Red cabbage shredded
  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium low heat. Cook the onion until it starts to soften.
  • Add the cabbage, vinegar, and sugar. Stir well. Cover with a lid and bring to a simmer, allowing the cabbage to cook in the liquid for about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • When the cabbage is tender, remove the lid and season with salt and pepper to taste.
