Ingredients
Iced Ginger Tea
- 24 oz Water
- 4 Ginger tea bags
- Ice cubes
Air Fryer French Fries
- 2 Russet potatoes cut into thin strips and soaked in water
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Currywurst
- 8 oz Bratwurst Links
- 1 tsp Avocado oil
- 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 tsp Yellow curry powder
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup Ketchup
- 2 TBSP Water
Instructions
- Bring water to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat, add ginger tea bags, and steep. Remove tea bags and refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice cubes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Prep all ingredients per the instructions above.
- Toss the potatoes with extra-virgin olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F (200°C), shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the bratwurst on a baking sheet and bake until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove from the oven and slice into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat avocado oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until translucent. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in curry powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook briefly to toast the spices.
- Add ketchup and water, stirring to combine. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add the sliced bratwurst to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Serve currywurst with French fries and iced ginger tea.
