Ingredients
Green Tea
- 2 cups Water
- 2 Green tea bags
Pear, Kiwi, and Chia Seeds
- 1 Kiwi peeled and sliced
- 1 Pear cored and diced
- 2 tsp Chia seeds
Beef Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich
- 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil divided
- 2 cups Baby spinach
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 5 oz Ground beef formed into thin patties
- 4 Eggs
- 2 TBSP Goat cheese soft and spreadable
- 4 slices Sourdough bread
Instructions
- Prep all ingredients per the instructions above.
- Bring water to a boil. Remove from heat, add green tea bags, and steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and keep warm.
- Arrange sliced kiwi and diced pear on a plate and sprinkle with chia seeds.
- Heat half of the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add spinach, season lightly with salt and black pepper, and sauté until just wilted. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef patties and cook until browned and cooked to desired doneness, turning once. Season with salt and black pepper and remove from heat.
- Toast sourdough bread until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to medium low. Crack eggs into the skillet and cook sunny side up until whites are set and yolks remain runny. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Spread goat cheese evenly over toasted sourdough slices. Top with beef patties, sautéed spinach, and eggs. Close the sandwiches with the remaining bread slices.
- Serve the beef, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich with pear, kiwi, chia seeds, and hot green tea.
