Ingredients

Grilled Burger

  • 8 oz Ground beef
  • ½ TBSP Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 Hamburger buns lightly toasted
  • 2 slices Your choice of cheese (optional)
  • 4 TBSP Ketchup or choice of condiments
  • 4 leaves Butter lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • 2 slices Red onion thinly sliced

Grilled Corn

  • 1 ear Corn on the cob shucked
  • 2 tsp Butter

Watermelon

  • 2 slices Watermelon

Sparkling Chia Fresca

  • ½ cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 2 TBSP Maple syrup or honey, your choice
  • ½ tsp Chia seeds
  • Pinch Salt
  • 16 oz Sparkling water
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients as described above.
  • In a bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into burger patties.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Grill the patties for 3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook to desired doneness. Add a slice of cheese on top and let it melt.
  • Optional: Toast the hamburger buns, cut-side down, on the grill until golden.
  • Assemble each burger with lettuce, tomato, beef patty, onion, and your choice of condiments. Top with the other half of the bun.
  • For the grilled corn, heat the grill or grill pan to medium. Grill on all sides until tender and lightly charred.
  • Remove the corn from the grill, spread with butter, season with salt and pepper, and cut in half.
  • To make chia fresca, combine all the ingredients. Let sit for 5 minutes for the chia to bloom.
  • Serve the burgers with grilled corn, watermelon, and sparkling chia fresca.
