Ingredients
Sandwich
- 4 slices Sourdough bread
- 4 oz Brie cheese sliced
- 6 oz Deli turkey breast sliced
- 2 TBSP Cranberry sauce
- 1 cup Baby spinach
Sides
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into sticks (or use baby carrots)
- 1/2 cup Hummus
Chia Fresca
- 1/2 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 16 oz Water
- 2 TBSP Maple syrup or honey (your choice)
- 1/2 tsp Chia seeds
- pinch Salt
- 2 sprigs Fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- Optional: toast the bread.
- Spread cranberry sauce on one side of each slice. Layer with spinach, turkey, and brie.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top. Cut in half.
- To make the chia fresca: stir together all the ingredients. Let sit 5 minutes for the chia to bloom.
- Serve the sandwich with carrots and hummus
