Soy Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp Fresh ginger peeled and minced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 16 oz Salmon skinless 4 oz portions (wild caught preferred)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 400°F.
  • In a sauté pan on medium heat, add the soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, ginger and garlic. Simmer until it starts to thicken and becomes a syrup consistency.
  • Place the salmon on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Spoon the sauce over top and bake in the oven until it reaches your desired doneness using a thermometer (see below).
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Salmon Internal Temperatures 
  • Rare - 120 degrees
  • Medium Rare - 125 degrees
  • Medium - 130 degrees
  • Medium Well - 135 degrees
  • Well Done - 140 degrees
