Ingredients
Cucumber Water
- 24 oz Water cold
- 8 slices Cucumber
Crunchy Vanilla Walnuts
- 2 tsp Sugar
- pinch Salt
- 1/8 tsp Ground coriander
- 1/8 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Allspice
- pinch Ground nutmeg
- 2 cups Walnuts
- 1 TBSP Canola oil
- 1/2 TBSP Vanilla extract
Bagel
- 2 Plain bagel halved and toasted (your choice of bagel)
- 6 TBSP Whipped cream cheese more if needed
- 6 oz Lox (smoked salmon)
- 1/4 cup Red onion sliced thin
- 8 Grape tomatoes sliced thin
- 2 tsp Fresh dill
- 2 oz Potato chips
- 2 Pickle spears
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
- Mix the water and cucumber together and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (162°C).
- For the walnuts: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until fully combined. Spread onto a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes stirring occasionally. Then set it aside to cool completely. The serving size is about 1/2 cup. Store remaining in an airtight container.
- Toast the bagel.
- Assemble the bagel: Spread the bagel with cream cheese. Top with salmon, onion, tomatoes, and dill.
- Serve: Enjoy the bagel with chips, pickle, vanilla walnuts, and cucumber water.
