Ingredients

Cucumber Water

  • 24 oz Water cold
  • 8 slices Cucumber

Crunchy Vanilla Walnuts

  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • pinch Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1/8 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Allspice
  • pinch Ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups Walnuts
  • 1 TBSP Canola oil
  • 1/2 TBSP Vanilla extract

Bagel

  • 2 Plain bagel halved and toasted (your choice of bagel)
  • 6 TBSP Whipped cream cheese more if needed
  • 6 oz Lox (smoked salmon)
  • 1/4 cup Red onion sliced thin
  • 8 Grape tomatoes sliced thin
  • 2 tsp Fresh dill
  • 2 oz Potato chips
  • 2 Pickle spears

Instructions

  • Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
  • Mix the water and cucumber together and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (162°C).
  • For the walnuts: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until fully combined. Spread onto a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes stirring occasionally. Then set it aside to cool completely. The serving size is about 1/2 cup. Store remaining in an airtight container.
  • Toast the bagel.
  • Assemble the bagel: Spread the bagel with cream cheese. Top with salmon, onion, tomatoes, and dill.
  • Serve: Enjoy the bagel with chips, pickle, vanilla walnuts, and cucumber water.
